National Eagle Scout Association

Requirement #1 – Be an Eagle Scout

It’s easy to join!

Are you an Eagle Scout? Then you have completed your first requirement to join!

Since Arthur Rose Eldred became the first Eagle Scout in the summer of 1912, more than two and half million men and women have followed in Arthur’s footsteps along the Trail to Eagle. And when they did, they changed the world.

Because the Trail to Eagle doesn’t really stop at Eagle.

For some, it continues on to the halls of power – to the White House and Congress, to the corner office and the executive suite. For others, it leads to the great outdoors – to the Appalachian Trail, the South Pole, and the summit of Mount Everest. Still, for others, it culminates in service in the classroom and the laboratory, in the Peace Corps and the local community.
