EXCLUSIVE summer opportunities for Cub Scouts and Webelos!
The Muskingum Valley Council is proud to once again host our very own Cub Adventure Camp weekend! On the
weekend of July 30th-August 1st,
we will be having our Cub Adventure Camp at the Muskingum Valley Scout
Reservation. All Cub Scouts are welcome and encouraged to attend.
It is sure to be an exciting weekend, with lots to offer for Cubs
to have fun and earn advancements, so don't miss out!
Also, new this year is our pilot Webelos Resident Camp! Only open to
Webelos Scouts and their leaders, this camp is aimed at easing the
transition between Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. During
the weekend of June 11th-13th,
Webelos will get the chance to experience a little of what it will be
like to spend time at MVSR during Boy Scout Summer Camp. They
will stay in official BSA summer camp tents, and do activities
specifically created for Webelos that are getting ready to become Boy
Scouts. Please note, this camp is not open to siblings or
tag-a-longs.
If you would like to sign up for either Cub Adventure Camp or Webelos Resident Camp,

MVSR Info
The Muskingum Valley Scout Reservation (also known as MVSR)
is our council's year-round camping facility. Located on over 500 acres
of reclaimed land near Conesville in Coshocton county, MVSR has offered
Scouts a wide variety of options to expand their camping experience
since its opening in 1968.
MVSR contains 10 campsites for tent camping, with three Adirondacks
for additional shelter. In addition, the camp features a climbing tower
built in 2004 and the Dick Spring High Adventure Area, a section of
unreclaimed land which provides a more challenging camping setting. Click here for a simple map of the camp. For
more information on year-round camping opportunities at MVSR, please
refer to the Council Calendar for upcoming events or contact the
Council Service Center.
During the summer, MVSR is the setting for our Summer Camp, which is
a week-long experience for Boy Scouts and/or Venturers. Cub Scout
Adventure Camp (a weekend version of Summer Camp designed for Cub
Scout-age boys) and one of our Cub Scout Day Camps are also held at
MVSR.
