Ordeal Candidate Information

To All Ordeal Candidates,

Congratulations on being selected by your fellow peers to become a member of the Order of the Arrow. To complete your membership, you must complete an Ordeal within one year of your Call Out date:

Due to Covid-19 we will be following the same protocol as summer camp for all attending. It will be as follows:
1. Daily temperature checks for one week prior to the weekend (starts Aug. 7th)
2. Covid-19 risk statement form must be signed and brought with you along with a copy of your health form
3. Masks are required (bring your summer camp buff)
4. We will be using the cohort model, grouping all candidates and work groups by chapter
5. You must bring your own tent. There will be no use of any building for sleeping, including Adirondacks

Registration will begin on Friday night from 6 – 8 pm in the Welcome Center. Please come to camp in your Field (Class A) uniform, with your $45 registration fee (if not paid in advance) AND a COPY of your BSA Medical Form, Parts A and B.  The cost for the weekend is $45 and includes all of your meals as well as your 2020 dues, sash, handbook and pocket flap. You need to bring the following items in a pack of some sort:

  • Hiking Boots
  • Water Bottle
  • a drop cloth or tarp
  • sleeping bag
  • clothes to work in with gloves if you have them
  • your personal toiletries
  • a tent for Saturday night
  • Mask/face covering

You can be picked up any time after 8:30am on Sunday morning. Please register online, payment can be made online or upon arrival at camp.
