The Muskingum Valley Council (MVC) is a Chapter of the Boy Scouts of America. The MVC BSA was founded in 1957 and is located in east central and southeastern Ohio. We serve Scouting volunteers in Coshocton, Guernsey, Knox, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Washington, Pleasants, and Tuscarawas Counties.

It is the mission of the Muskingum Valley Council Boy Scouts of America, in cooperation with local community organizations, to provide a high quality Scouting program which will foster in young people a commitment to serve God and country, ethical moral character, personal fitness, good citizenship, and the development of mental maturity and leadership ability.
We prepare our community’s youth for life.
In addition, we operate the Muskingum Valley Scout Reservation in Coshocton, Ohio. This exceptional, outdoor education center is host to our annual Boy Scout Summer Camp, Webelos Resident Camp, Cub Scout Adventure Weekend, year-round camping and hundreds more activities and training experiences. Families spent more than 10,000 nights camping at MVSR this past year.
